Will This Be 2017's First T-Shirt Trend?

Among the fashion crowd, one T-shirt trend, in particular, has reigned supreme in 2016—graphic tees. Every brand, from fast fashion to designer, is on board and women are snapping them up to wear tucked into their skirts and high-waisted jeans or layered over a dress. But perennially stylish model Alessandra Ambrosio just wore a version of the graphic tee that made us do a double take, and we're thinking it could take off.

Ambrosio wore a graphic tee dress, styled to a T with a denim jacket tied around her waist and sneakers. Her dress of choice is a variation of the Isabel Marant Étoile Dewel tee that was popular among the street style set throughout fashion month. The Dali dress is sadly unavailable, but you can still purchase the tee version here. Another indication that graphic T-shirt dresses are destined for trend status? Directional brands like Moschino, Opening Ceremony, Maison Margiela, and Vetements are all stocking them.

Based on Ambrosio's stellar example, we love the effortless vibe that the comfortable dress style imparts and suggest wearing one over leggings as the weather cools down. Keep scrolling to check out her look and shop our favorite graphic tee dresses!
