Gisele Bündchen's Face-Wash Secret Is . . . Interesting
If you're one of Gisele Bündchen's 11 million Instagram followers, you know the supermodel is passionate about meditation, nature preservation, and healthy nutrition. It might not come as a surprise, then, that one element of Bündchen's skincare routine is about as low-key and down-to-earth as you can get. According to her new interview with Allure, Bündchen washes her face with only water in lieu of products. Now that's one way to minimize waste. I have to admit that this is the first time I've heard of this method and even our veteran beauty editor, Erin Jahns, admitted that it's "pretty shocking." But hey, if it ain't broke, why fix it? To each their own.
Of course, there is more to it than that. She told Allure that she also occasionally uses a facial exfoliant and always uses a moisturizer and eye cream at night. Plus, Bündchen is the face of Dior's Capture Totale Super Potent Serum, so she waxed poetic on its ultra-hydrating ingredients, including squalane and hyaluronic acid.

3. Eye Cream

I don't know if Gisele has the same dark circles under her eyes as I do, but this eye mask packed with vitamins and essential oils will do the trick for anyone.
4. Hydrating Serum
This award-winning serum has all of the high-end ingredients you'd expect from a luxury label—and then some. We're talking hyaluronic acid, flower extracts, squalane, and more.
I've been using this milky serum for years. It's lightweight, not greasy, moisturizing, smells good, and is effective at perking up my skin.
Next, my WFH desk is nothing without these 4 beauty products handy.
Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
