The Street Style Star Who Starts the Trends Everyone Else Copies
Street style star Gilda Ambrosio is known for her brave styling choices, and even though her more-is-more fashion week outfits may seem a world away from our own wardrobes, she was the first to wear a lot of the trends we now see in Zara. Take the kimono—Gilda was one of the first to wear silky robes and wrap dresses over jeans, sparking one of the biggest trends of 2017. The Italian It girl founded the brand Attico in 2016 with fellow street style star Giorgia Tordini, but a handful of seasons later, they are already power players in the industry, hugely influencing how we dress. This season, you'll see drawstring pouch handbags, an Attico signature, all over the high street, and we have lost count of the number of Attico-style kimonos we've seen in Zara. Keep scrolling to see Gilda Ambrosio's best looks and to shop her key accessories.

Style Notes: Checks are the big print this season, and Gilda shows that you can mix contrasting plaids with a bomber and skirt in different prints. Oh, and the shoes are Prada because we know you're wondering.
Style Notes: Gilda wore a trench coat as a dress, pairing her oversized trench with white Converse hi-tops.
Style Notes: Attico's security tag–esque anklets might have confused a lot of people, but thanks to Gilda, they became a street style staple.
Style Notes: Gilda was one of the first to wear a silky, kimono-style robe as a jacket with jeans—an outfit you'll now see all over Instagram (and the Zara website).
Style Notes: Here Gilda shows that the classics can look seriously cool, wearing straight-leg blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a Chanel tweed jacket. Her anklets and oversized sunglasses give the look more personality.
Style Notes: This outfit proves that Gilda is one of the bravest dressers in fashion land, as at Paris Fashion Week, she wore a Quality Street purple silky jumpsuit tucked into red suede boots.
