For years, I've been carrying the same sturdy black nylon duffle bag as my airport carry-on, and suffice it to say, I'm bored. After seeing what bag Gigi Hadid carried for a flight out of JFK Airport this week, I'm ready for a change.
As you probably know, raffia bags are basically the only bags that matter this summer, and Prada has played a large part in making this so. Its logo raffia totes have been favorites among the fashion crowd for several summers now, and they show no signs of losing their It factor.
For her flight, Hadid opted for Prada's oversize blue-and-white gingham logo tote, which would be an obvious choice to carry to the beach and a not-so-obvious one to carry to JFK. But that's why I love it. In a sea of boring black duffle bags, I want to be the cheerful Prada tote.
