Gigi Hadid's 4-Point Plan for Looking Glam in Jeans and a Tee

There's a lot of style advice we'll happily take from Gigi Hadid (from her tone-on-tone dressing to the way she wears genderless pieces on the regular), but with this particular look we're prepared to literally swipe and copy from head to perfectly pedicured toe.

Stepping out in Manhattan, New York—just a few hours before heading out on a date night with Zayn Malik—Gigi looked like a modern-day Pink Lady from Grease. Wearing what was essentially a very simple outfit—jeans, tee, done—Miss Hadid upped the fashion ante in four ways as follows:

Her hair and makeup: Scarlet lipstick to match scarlet nails and an extravagant '80s-style blow-dry puts jeans and a jersey into a fancy realm.

A ladylike handbag: In an equally vibrant shock of red, this little number instantly upped the femininity of her casual attire.

Posh-looking slides: These may be flat, but the high-shine ponyskin finish makes them look anything but pool-ready.

Retro-style sunglasses: The exaggerated point of these cat-eyes are so 1950s pin-up… even if they are brand-new.
