Gigi Hadid Packed So Many Gen Z Trends Into One Outfit, and It's a Whole Vibe

Gigi Hadid, our unofficial Gen Z queen (who isn't technically Gen Z, age-wise, but she is in our hearts), is at it again. If you count yourself one of the many fans of hers, you've probably noticed that she's been fully embracing all of Gen Z's favorite trends this year. (Side note: You don't have to technically be a part of Generation Z to appreciate and wear the trends they made famous. I'm a full-on millennial, and I'll wear any colorful bucket hat that comes my way.)

While taking a stroll in New York earlier this week, Hadid showed us that there's no need to settle on just one Gen Z trend at a time, as statement-making as they are. It's arguably even more fun to wear a mix of the colorful early 2000s–inspired trends instead of just one, and Hadid proves that point.

If you're ready to take a page from Gigi Hadid's summer playbook, scroll to shop the five Gen Z trends she wore together in NYC.

Trend #1: Colorful Bucket Hat

Hadid's crochet bucket hat is the easiest way to tell them you're Gen Z without telling them.

Trend #2: Oval Sunglasses

Nineties frames are Hadid's go-to, particularly when they're oval shaped. As you can see, they pair well with a bucket hat.

Trend #3: Y2K Jewelry

Fun jewelry that resembles something you might've made at summer camp is still trending. Hadid went with a luxe take on the trend, opting for a gold shell necklace.

Trend #4: Kelly Green

Kelly green is quickly becoming the Gen Z It color of the season. Get on board.

Trend #5: Fuzzy Mules

It may be the dog days of summer, but that didn't stop Hadid from reaching for a pair of fuzzy mules.
