This Will Be Street Style's Next Hero Piece
You already know and love Georgia Alice. The designer behind the much-Instagrammed label, Georgia Currie, is the mastermind behind those off-the-shoulder tops you saw on everyone last summer (and Solange Knowles, NBD)—and we have a feeling she just sent her next hero piece down the runway.
Georgia Alice's Resort 17 collection is inspired by coastal living, and the Swiss artist Mai-Thu's 14 year project, The Crystal Frontier. The collection is about being yourself, and creating the best version of you.
Long, loose ties featured heavily, and an unexpected '00s trend made its return—the mini bubble skirt. We're yet to see this piece make an appearance in Australia, however Selena Gomez has recently stepped out in the trend, convincing us it's definitely back.
But the piece we predict will make a major street style debut? A metallic slip that would look at home on a '90s Kate Moss. Simple, the perfect amount of sheen, and subtle ruching details to elevate it into 2016.
With sounds by Graz from Kanye West's 'The Life Of Pablo', the Georgia Alice girl is exactly who we want to be.
Keep scrolling to see the piece we predict you're about to see everywhere, plus our favourite looks from the collection.
Tell us what you think about our prediction in the comments below and then shop current season Georgia Alice if you're feeling inspired.
