The Fall Trend Everyone Will Wear First This Year
I don't know about you, but I've begun to mentally move on from summer clothes, as I do every year when the pre-fall pieces start arriving and I've already worn all of my new summer pieces a few times. While the temperatures are still sweltering, I'm looking forward to slowly incorporating a few of the new fall trends into my wardrobe as soon as I can, so I did a little runway/street style research.
When the fall collections debuted at the various fashion weeks earlier this year, it was impossible not to notice that the Wild West is a major theme. As a result, fringe was all over the runways, and it's already begun infiltrating the street style scene. The beauty of the trend is that it isn't something that's exclusively for cold weather, as it's a detail that can feasibly be added to pieces that are relevant to any season—handbags, dresses, and outerwear included. Plus, they can take on many forms, from leather to yarn to metallic to beaded to denim. Given all this and its impending popularity, I'm predicting that fringe is the fall trend that will inevitably start cropping up first this year (and it doesn't hurt that it's basically Instagram gold).
