The world's obsession with all things Français endures, especially when it comes to their sartorial leanings. We're particularly keen on any details that indicate specific insight into what Parisian women wear for different occasions. So when we spotted a piece on InStyle highlighting how French women get married, we were all ears.

The magazine consulted Parisian wedding blogger (tough gig!) Nessa Buonomo of La Mariée Aux Pieds Nus on all things concerning Parisian wedding style. She touched on the French preferences that the dress should be timeless and that less is more when it comes to accessories. But it was the specific pair of shoes that she says give an "authentic Parisian look" that really intrigued us.

She remarked, "I really love it when brides go for flats," and said "brides shouldn't be afraid to think outside of the box when it comes to their shoes." Buonomo names the French-made Repetto Zizi oxfords as the authentic Parisian shoe in question. Hey, if you're going to get married in flats, you might as well do as the French do and wear these classic, effortlessly cool ones.

Shop the shoes below and head over to InStyle to read more about how Parisian women get married!
