As we all know, French-girl style, as it's commonly referred to, has long been highly covetable and that's likely to always be the case. The reason behind this is that their underlying aesthetic is classic and accessible. Soft-matte rosy cheeks are lovely for any occasion—from working from home to picnics and so on. I'm a big blush person, so I'm very much inspired to trade my dewy cream ones for a rosy powder this fall.

As much as I hate applying eyeliner, there's no denying the Brigitte Bardot–esque appeal of a little winged eyeliner. While liquid eyeliner may be a more advanced makeup technique, at least you won't need to apply a ton of products otherwise. It's highly effective when you let it take center stage.
