How Emma Roberts Made a Forever 21 Jacket Look Designer

The always-stylish Emma Roberts has proven herself to have a knack for choosing the best pieces from everyone's favorite affordable retailers (i.e. Forever 21) and creating outfits out of them that make you forget that they won't cause harm to your bank account. She displayed her skills in this arena yet again this weekend, wearing a $25 camo Forever 21 jacket (and $10 H&M shorts!) like a true fashion girl.

The Scream Queens star went for an outfit combination that her fellow fashion girls love: a bodysuit (technically one-piece swimsuit in this case), denim shorts, a military-inspired jacket, and chunky sandals. The tailored shorts and bodysuit created a sleek line, and the third piece (the jacket) added effortless outfit-boosting properties. She displayed that a best practice for making an affordable piece look elevated and expensive-looking is to keep the rest of your outfit polished and classic, as opposed to sloppy and overly trendy.
