In an industry where there are too many trends to count or keep track of, my closet has turned into a makeshift laboratory where I test out all the latest products. But I'm a minimalist at heart, so once I sense my wardrobe getting too crowded, I get the itch to clean out the items I'm not head over heels for. After careful deliberation and many donation boxes, I'm happy to report that only four key summer trends are still standing. This season, I've been wearing butter-yellow separates and breezy, striped pants and shorts (aka my daytime pajamas) like there's no tomorrow. As for my accessories, I'm still smitten with Mary Jane ballet flats, and east-west handbags have become my new favorite silhouette. It's no surprise that I purchased all of my favorite items at Net-a-Porter. If you're feeling persuaded to test-drive these trends, then here are the pieces I recommend.

Mary Jane Flats

"Pajama" Bottoms

Butter Yellow

East-West Handbags
