I've been thinking ahead to what I'll be shopping for this summer, and I keep coming back to pieces that fall within a grown-up, elegant aesthetic. Items such as pointed ballerina flats, A-line dresses, and tweed jackets all have a sense of sophistication that lend a pulled-together element to an outfit and feel primed for my closet now and in the months ahead. That sense of elegance is set to be a defining look for summer 2024, and I've zeroed in on the key buys for the season.

Specific pieces such as round-neck one-piece swimsuits, oval sunglasses with gold hardware, and statement earrings are on my radar. I also have my eye on cigarette pants, full circle skirts, and satin slingbacks that are perfect to wear for summer but can easily work into the second half of the year. To shop them all in one place, I made an edit of my top summer finds from Saks. Ahead, see every piece that has landed on my short list—some of the chic finds are on sale for up to 70% off thanks to the designer sale that runs until August 1.
