I know it's hard to believe based on how it looks outside right now, but a glimpse at the calendar confirms summer is not far off. In fact, in about two months, our social media feeds will be filled with stylish getaways of all sorts, from the manicured beaches of the Hamptons to the charming cobblestone streets in Europe. Naturally, we'll be keeping you up-to-date on where the style is set is jetting off to, but in the meantime, we thought we'd make a few predictions as to what the fashion set will be adding to their carts.
Each season, we predict which luxury items will come to define the next few months—the pieces we'll be seeing all over our social media feeds and on the street. Usually, our predictions are right, but sometimes, we need to tap the experts for their insider POV. Enter Hannah Lewis, fashion director at the beloved luxury sourcing platform Threads Styling. Threads works with customers all over the world to source the most-wanted designer buys on the market—from the perpetually-sold-out Alaïa fishnet flats to those impossible-to-track-down runway pieces—so Lewis knows about what will be hot before anyone else does.
We caught up with her to chat about all things summer 2024 fashion. Lewis shared her list of the designer buys she's focused all of her attention on, from the Miu Miu polo shirt that we can already see becoming an Instagram hit to the Mary Jane flats from Chanel's spring runway that our editors have been zooming in on for months now. Take notes—these 19 items will be everywhere in a matter of months.

"'Polo club' is another trend we're really behind, and the return of the polo shirt is happening. This crochet one is perfect for summer."
"I'm keen to invest in a statement dress for the summer months, as I travel a lot and will rewear it if it's the right piece. This is exactly that."
"I am still into red as a cult color, even as someone that only wears neutral colors. I'm also really into minimalist brands such as Jil Sander and The Row for accessories, and I feel these are super chic."
"Big bags are a trend I'm behind for practical reasons, and I think Miu Miu has nailed it with this one. It has a fashion edge while being super practical for traveling, carrying a laptop, etc."
"These were a hot product last summer, and they're back for another year."
"Many of our Middle Eastern clients are really tapping into the quiet luxury look and were doing so before it was a huge trend. I love the color of these pants. It feels like a fresh take on neutrals."
"Mary Janes have made a serious return, and these are *the* shoes of the summer and a total sellout. DM us @threadsstyling on Instagram to source and shop them."
"I'll always invest in tailored shorts, and these Miu Miu ones have just enough branding that our clients will want to tap into. They're not logo-heavy, so they won't become dated very quickly either."
"This brand blew up last year among those 'in the know,' and I predict it will be one of our top-selling brands this summer for fine jewelry."
"I like to buy vintage where possible, and when it comes to the Jackie, I'm all about the original."
"The original flip-flop is another style that's high on my radar for summer. Chanel has done them perfectly, and I predict we will sell a high volume of these."
"This bag is still proving a cult shape. I'm continuing to back the white as we move into summer."
"Big sunglasses are back, and they're another item I love to tap into vintage for."
"Raffia is always a huge trend for us each season. I love this crochet update Prada is doing, and this bag will definitely blow up this summer."
"Heels are out, and flat shoes are definitely in. These new Alaïa flats will be a cult buy for summer, and I love the chunky-hardware update."
"Abadia is a Saudi-based brand partner of ours, and these dresses are cult for the summer months. The brand isn't hugely well-known globally yet, but [it's] one to have on your radar."
"Spinelli is one of my all-time favorite fine jewelry brands and a great stacking piece to own as part of your jewelry collection. Each one is completely customizable, and you can build your own if you wish. This is something our clients love, as it means theirs is a one-off."
"A favorite brand of mine for summer. This style is actually exclusive to Threads, and I'm obsessed with it."
