If Revolve and Nordstrom Existed in France, These 41 Items Would Sell Out First
I've obviously been watching Emily in Paris recently (I don’t make the rules!), and when chitchatting about it to friends and random people at events and such, it never fails to delight me how worked up everyone gets about the fashion. We love it, we hate it, and we need to talk about it—particularly about how fabulously at odds it all seems with the classic, impeccably understated idea we have of what French style should be.
If your personal style veers more "capsule wardrobe" and less "prints on prints for all occasions," then this curation of chic fall items is for you. Think timeless denim, excellent tailored separates, and elegant accessories that elevate the simplest outfits. From Isabel Marant accessories to under-$100 basics, I found all these French-coded pieces at Nordstrom and Revolve. No, Emily Cooper probably wouldn't buy anything here, but my friends in Paris definitely would.
Shout-out to Good American for making these perfect '90s-inspired jeans in such a wide range of sizes (from 00 to 24).
Sylvie Mus would wear these with black tights when it gets chilly.
For when it's drizzling but not really raining aka classic Paris weather.
Everyone's favorite canvas bag in a fresh shape and fall's trendiest hue.
Dark-wash jeans make a casual look feel so expensive.
The square toe and burgundy hue are making these Mary Janes feel very 2024.
Crewneck cardigans just styled as a top. Completely buttoned all the way up. You know?
Possibly the most "weekday Parisian" energy I've ever seen in my entire life.
This chill collared jacket is absolutely what's being worn with the above trousers and loafers.
Your fall blazer rotation deserves a cropped, collarless style to pair with slouchier bottoms.
These might actually be compulsory for cool people working on their laptops from cafés in Le Marais.
If there's one thing I know to be true, it's that Parisian women love black ankle boots.
