I Want an Expensive-Looking Fall Wardrobe—7 Elevated Items I'm Ordering as We Speak
Fashion’s favorite season is here, and this time around, I’m focusing on shopping for elevated, versatile items that make me look way richer than I actually am. As someone who shops for a living, I have been eyeing so many great picks for fall but narrowed it down to seven items that can take your wardrobe up a notch. Not only are these picks essentials that you probably already own, but these new pieces you’ll fall in love with are also timeless, so you know you’ll wear them for years to come.
From a great pair of straight-leg denim to the chicest brown boots on the market, keep scrolling to see the seven fall items I’m eyeing to elevate my wardrobe this fall.
Leather Belts
Out of all of the great basics out there, a good leather belt is honestly in my top three. It’s the difference between a boring sweater-and-jeans look and adds so much polish with minimal effort. With so many denim outfits on the horizon for fall, I would make sure to have a good leather belt or two on hand.
Loafers
Move over, ballet flats—there’s a new flat shoe in town. Loafers have that back-to-school vibe that I love during the fall season. I’m already brainstorming ways to wear mine this coming fall.
Suede Jacket
Fall is the season of light layers and nothing is chicer than a good suede jacket. Plus, this style has such a rich-person vibe to it.
Cashmere Sweater
I love the warm weather, but a good cashmere sweater can make even me excited to bundle up. I’m particularly obsessed with the Reformation one linked below.
Brown Boots
For years I've been one of those people who lives in black boots for the fall, but this time around, I’m leaning into brown instead. Leather, suede, croc-embossed—you name it, I’m interested.
Straight-Leg Denim
It’s finally time to bust out all of your jeans. A good pair of straight-leg denim to wear with ballet flats, loafers, sneakers, and boots is just a nonnegotiable for fall.
Suede Bag
My suede obsession is more than just jackets. I’m really loving chocolate suede bags, in particular. They just ooze a sophisticated autumn vibe.
