Refined Elegance Is My 2025 Style Goal, and I'll Be Starting With These 30 Buys
As I'm settling into 2025, I've realized that my style has notably pivoted over the past year toward a more elegant and refined look. I'm increasingly gravitating toward streamlined tailoring, polished handbags, and sophisticated flats over anything too trendy, and I know I'm not the only one who's doing so. The spring/summer 2025 runways overwhelmingly showcased a refined and grown-up mood, whether it was the collarless coats at Toteme or the beautiful draping and A-line skirts at the recent Jacquemus show. Since my ultimate goal when getting dressed right now is to look as elegant as possible, I'm on the hunt for pieces that will become my 2025 staples.
That means I've narrowed my shopping energies in on pieces that have that elegant and retro feel but are ultimately the kinds of wearable pieces I'll want to reach for on the daily. Up ahead, you'll discover everything from a pair of satin Zara flats to workout black cigarette trousers to my dream Jil Sander bag, and so much more. I don't know about you, but I plan on starting the year strong, and these finds are nothing short of epic, IMHO.
As if I needed another reason to fall madly in love with this beautiful coat, Ariana Grande also styled it beautifully during her Wicked press tour.
If you know me, you know I've been talking about this Jil Sander bag for a while now. I love how it feels like a cool vintage find.
Carven's recent collections have had a major impact on my personal style. This top, especially.
Sorry (or you're welcome), but cigarette pants are set to be the go-to this year.
I nearly ordered a similar $900 pair from The Row but thankfully spotted this pair from G.H. Bass with the same vibe. All my loafers are from this brand, and the quality is truly top-notch.
There's a reason every single well-dressed person in my feed has this bag, and I'm determined to make 2025 the year I find out why.
I knew I'd buy these the moment I saw them in the brand's showroom back in September.
