33 Trendy Basics From Reformation, COS, and Aritzia That Are an Immediate Yes
When it comes to basics, my thinking is that they don't have to be boring to qualify as basics (although boring ones are essential too). Adding trendy basics to your wardrobe is a great way to keep it fresh with items that can be worn in multiple ways and with different items. There are certain brands that do trendy basics very well, and I've spotted a number of great options from three, in particular, that I need you to see.
Reformation, COS, and Aritzia are a few of my go-to brands for trendy basics, and as we shift our mindsets to 2025, I'm getting rid of my tired basics and taking stock of what my closet needs in the new year. Since sharing is caring, I'm divulging my best finds from each brand so that you, too, can do a little productive basics shopping.
Read on to shop 33 chic Ref, COS, and Aritzia basics that subtly reflect current trends while remaining wearable and versatile.
Reformation
The slim fit and subtle V-neck here are very of-the-moment.
This super-soft camel top is all I want to wear for the remainder of winter.
The fact that these jeans are chocolate brown makes them even cooler.
A simple black strapless top is greatly improved by the addition of a buckle.
A Fair Isle sweater that'll work far beyond just the holiday season.
COS
Fittingly, a funnel-neck jacket is at the top of my outerwear wish list.
Aritzia
As an owner of this sweater, I can confirm that it's worth every penny.
This is the least basic thing in this roundup, but it was too adorable not to include.
A red V-neck cashmere sweater is pretty much the definition of a trendy basic.
This is everything a denim shirt should be, and it happens to be the one I'm wearing in the intro photo.
Add this to your cart if you're ready for the impending return of skinny pants.
Aritzia keeps making its Super Puffs better and better.
