I Place a Lot of Reformation Orders—These Are the 17 Best Things I Bought This Year
Of all the brands inhabiting my closet, the label you'll see the most is Reformation. I've been ordering pieces on a regular basis since the brand's inception more than a decade ago, which is a long time to be loyal to a brand. But I stay loyal because season after season, I continue to be impressed by how adept the brand is at churning out high-quality items that make all of the latest trends completely wearable, and at accessible prices. Even as I get older and my wardrobe evolves, I continue to find pieces that meet me where I'm at and enhance my outfits.
Per usual, I've had a very Reformation-filled year, and love some of the pieces I ordered so much, I feel the need to share how great they are. Delightfully, all of these pieces are still in stock and some are even on sale (you're welcome). If you, too, are obsessed with Reformation but are overwhelmed by the plethora of options vying for a place in your cart, keep scrolling to shop this editor's favorite purchases of 2024.
Of all of the Reformation purchases I made this year, this dress is the one I've worn the most. It looks amazing with sneakers and heels alike, and works for every season of the year. Whenever I wear it, I get compliments.
I'd had my eye on these boots for ages, but when Ref released them in chocolate brown suede for fall, I had to have them. I'm on the short side and find knee boots a bit tricky since some are too tall and hit at an awkward above-knee place on my leg but these are perfect. Now I just need the calf hair leopard-print pair...
Reformation makes great cashmere, and I could tell by looking at it that this sweater is made of thick, high-quality cashmere. I also loved the slim-ish fit and high V-neck so much that I immediately ordered it in red after receiving the gray one.
The Dusk tank gets a lot of hype, and it's warranted. I actually first bought it in (now sold-out) velvet last year and have added a couple of the knit colors to my wardrobe this year. Whenever I don't know what to wear, I wear this. (Oh, and they're perfect under blazers.)
Do not sleep on Reformation's jewelry collection with Clare Waight Keller that was released in the fall. The quality is so good, and the prices reasonable considering that. These earrings are somehow bold and subtle at once, and I've been wearing them on repeat because of it.
This dress is so fun and chic that I packed it for a trip to Paris this summer, and got lots of compliments. Dresses of this style were everywhere by year's end, but Ref did it best, if you ask me.
This tee is another one of my most-worn Reformation pieces of the year. I actually have it in a few of the solid colors but the fit of the striped one is a bit different (boxier, I'd say) and I prefer it. It was to the point where I was wearing it on a weekly basis over the summer.
Another piece that I own in multiple colors (four, to be exact), I find it to be one of the best cardigans on the market. Reformation knows it, which is why they keep releasing it in new seasonal colors. I suggest sizing down to get a fit similar to the model. (I would typically order a S in a cardigan but the XS in this is perfect.)
As you know, it's been all about baggy pants these past few years, but I find slim black pants to be far more versatile. I've been wearing this pair with my oversized sweaters and heels all fall and winter long, and highly recommend. Plus, they're machine washable.
I actually bought these in black but they're pretty much sold out now and the cream is just as good—especially for when spring rolls around. They look chic with every outfit they're paired with and have a timeless yet modern feel to them.
I think we're all aware by now that Reformation makes great basics, and some reach icon status. Like the Dusk Top, the Wiley Top is one of them. It's the perfect layering piece that's just as great on its own.
Reformation released so many chic jackets this season and I wanted them all but this is the one I ordered first. I ordered the Stone color (which is almost sold out now) but this one was a close second. It's perfect for more mild fall and winter weather and I like that you can wear it as a jacket or on its own like the model.
Because one denim mini dress is not enough in my opinion, I also ordered this one this year. It's a more fitted style than the Tropez dress but is equally great for year-round wear. And as you can see, it's the perfect thing to wear with knee boots.
I wore this two-piece set constantly during the summer—especially since the pieces can be mixed and matched. White linen midi skirts were everywhere this summer but there was something especially perfect about the fit, shape, and length of this one.
I kid you not—these are comfortable enough to wear on a flight. They're just a cute, easy alternative when you don't want to wear jeans, and they look expensive IRL. They also come in black, but doesn't everyone need at least one pair of red pants?
I ordered this before an early fall trip to NYC after seeing how chic it looked on the model. The in-person product did not disappoint. I was surprised by how long it was, but I liked it as it gives you more styling options.
Another holy grail Ref item, the Olina Linen Pants are a spring and summer wardrobe must-have. The linen is nice and thick (so, not see-through) and in true Reformation style, the fit is easy and cool.
