My 2025 Shopping Bucket List: 30 Fashion and Beauty Items That Made the Cut
Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one editor, staffer, or influencer shares their top 30 must-haves or current wish-list items.
Over the holidays, I had a little more free time than usual to do things I often neglect, such as weeding out unworn items in my closet and unused beauty products in my bathroom. After being faced with how overstuffed my storage space is, I decided that I'm only interested in purchasing things that I'll wear and use repeatedly in 2025. No more shoes that I buy for one trip or lipsticks purchased for one special occasion. The best way to stay on track with my shopping intentions is to make a list and stick to it, so on New Year's Day, thats exactly what I did.
My 2025 shopping bucket list consists of 15 fashion items and 15 beauty products that I'm prioritizing this year, all of which I know I'll wear over and over. In case you're seeking a bit of shopping inspiration or are just curious, keep scrolling to check out my list and perhaps even add some of these bucket-list items to your own collection.
Fashion Bucket List
Chic every day earrings are at the very top of my 2025 shopping list. These check all the boxes.
These are currently on back order, but I shall wait.
If I get just one new bag this year, I want it to be this one. It's so classic and versatile, and I know I'd carry it constantly.
I'm already planning a tropical vacation for this spring, and I like to pack at least one one-piece. This Staud new arrival checks all the boxes.
I recently ordered these jeans in another color and have worn them every other day since. This black wash is next on my list
For some reason, I don't own a single skort, but when I saw this one, I ordered it immediately. It's so very polished.
I recently tried this brand for the first time and am obsessed. I need more pairs.
I told myself I was done sweater shopping for the season, but then I saw this one.
My next sneaker purchase will be these affordable, celeb-approved It sneakers.
I already own this in several colors, but it's just so good. This shade will look especially cheerful this winter.
I already own these in one color, but they're so good that I might need another before spring arrives.
Beauty Bucket List
I have the lipstick in another color, and the formula is a dream. This perfect limited-edition color is going straight into my Nordstrom cart.
I will gladly buy anything Shani Darden releases, and this new serum is next up. It sounds like a "does it all" product, but I'm particularly interested in the redness-reducing capabilities.
Truth be told, I already ordered this a couple of weeks ago, but I will definitely repurchase when this bottle runs out. I wanted something with a slightly glowy finish but with decent, natural-looking coverage. I'd heard the hype, but this foundation exceeded my expectations.
My hair feels drastically thinner in the winter, and I'm finally ready to do something about it. You spray this treatment spray on your scalp when it's damp, and a few months later, voilà—thicker hair.
Beauty editors rave about this serum, which is said to leave skin "lifted, firmer, tighter, and luminous" by stimulating your skin's plasma. To say that I'm intrigued is an understatement.
I already have this blush (which made me love powder blush again) in a couple of shades, and I plan to add this one to my collection for spring.
Yes, this laser is wildly expensive, but I'm thinking of all of the money I'll save on treatments at the dermatologist because of it. Rumor has it that it's ridiculously easy to use, there's no downtime, and it noticeably reduces wrinkles and a slew of other skin concerns.
This new hand cream is getting rave reviews. My hands are always at their worst during January and February, so I intend on giving it a try before that happens.
I have a sample of this, and it leaves the prettiest wash of pink and stays on your lips for hours. I'm investing in the full size next.
Big eye-mask fan here. I look forward to trying (and probably loving) this new release.
This new Paula's Choice moisturizer promises visibly plumper skin, and the early reviews back that up. Plus, they had me at "pro-collagen."
I'm already a fan of Tom Ford's eye shadows, and I think it's safe to say that this is the prettiest palette I've ever seen.
If you see me this spring and summer, my toes will probably be this color.
I don't usually like lip pencils, but I have this one in another shade, and it's excellent. This rosy brown is next on my list.
I bought this bag in a different size and color and haven't gone on a trip without it since. This larger size is going to be my next purchase.
