The 29 Designer Sandals That Have Major It-Shoe Potential
Now that summer is floating onto the horizon, our minds (and shopping carts) have been filled with all things warm-weather dressing. In a few short weeks, it will finally be the time to break out all the chic linen pieces, new swimwear, and raffia accessories we've been eyeing all spring, but arguably nothing marks the true arrival of summer more than the switch from closed-toed shoes to sandals does. As far as we're concerned, the summer solstice is merely a formality, and the time has nearly come to show off our new sandals (ahem, this is your cue to book those pedicure appointments now).
With any new season comes a fresh selection of new-in styles, and for summer 2024, the designer sandals on offer are really delivering. I spent the afternoon scrolling through the new arrivals sections at some of my favorite luxury retailers like Net-a-Porter, Moda Operandi, and FWRD, and 30-plus tabs later, I've collected several pairs that are oozing with It-shoe potential. From Miu Miu to Chanel, discover and shop the designer sandals I'm predicting will go viral this summer.
Khaite does it again. The new Jones sandals are a minimalist's dream with their caged, asymmetric straps that are already winning over fashion editors.
No more accessories needed when you're wearing these stunning sandals.
We haven't stopped thinking about Proenza's toe-ring sandals since they made their debut on the spring/summer 2024 runway last September.
We do not doubt that Hermès' highly sought-after Chypre sandals will be a hit again this year.
These are what we'd call the good kind of weird.
Classic flip-flops, elevated. The Row's leather City sandals are the definition of a quiet-luxury staple.
Sleek, sophisticated, and utterly wearable. What's not to love?
Social media had a field day over these trompe l'oeil Jacquemus heels, and frankly, so did we.
Such a fresh take on the iconic horse-bit logo.
Just when I thought I was tiring of velcro sandals, these pulled me right back in.
These are already taking over my feed and summer hasn't even started yet, if that's any indication.
Net-a-Porter has already earmarked these as a trending product. Just FYI.
