5 Timeless Outfits I'm Wearing for Every Big Event in My Spring Calendar
Sponsor Content Created With Polo Ralph Lauren
It seems sunnier weather is finally about to make an appearance (fingers crossed!) and my calendar has already started filling up with those much-awaited outdoor soirées and garden parties. Now, I love a spring soirée as much as the next person—the ambience, the sun, the food; they're all my favourite things—but navigating through the sea of spring-party outfit inspiration, however, can be a tad overwhelming. I always want to look effortlessly stylish whilst soaking up the sunshine but finding the perfect balance between casual and elegant can be a real challenge.
When it comes to spring dressing, there's one name that always delivers refined silhouettes with a modern twist: Polo Ralph Lauren. Whether I'm attending a bridal shower, a brunch with friends or a romantic dinner date, Polo Ralph Lauren gets the memo every time. From flowy floral dresses to tailored blazers and elevated accessories, each piece adds to the next, making styling outfits so much easier.
Picture a sunny afternoon at a garden party sipping mimosas in an understatedly elegant ensemble—a stunning floral maxi dress paired with strappy sandals and a straw hat for that quintessential spring vibe; or perhaps an all-linen outfit and a pair of slingbacks for a dressier brunch look.
Always the planner, I decided to use this past weekend to get prepared and style five outfits I'm planning on wearing to every event in my calendar this spring. Keep scrolling for the looks and pieces that get 10 stars from me.
1. Bridal Shower Elegance
Style Notes: Embrace florals for a laid-back bridal shower or a casual outdoor gathering. The flowy silhouette and intricate floral design of this maxi dress add a touch of classic charm, whilst espadrille wedges and a woven crossbody bag complete the look with ease.

The colour, the material, the design—I'm in love with it all.
This straw crossbody brings the whole look together, and I know I'd get so much wear out of it all through spring and summer.
Sometimes all you need is a pair of gold hoops to finish a look.
2. Dinner in the City
Style Notes: For a day out in the city or rooftop drinks, opt for a sleek and polished linen set. With the oversized silhouette of the trousers and fitted waistcoat, this two-piece easily transitions from day to night with the help of the matching blazer. Complete the outfit with statement earrings and a structured clutch for an easy yet polished look.
Shop the Look:
There's always room for a white linen blazer in every spring wardrobe.
Wide-leg linen trousers are a tried and true wardrobe staple.
3. Boat-Party Fun
Style Notes: Channelling seaside vibes with a navy linen shirt and shorts outfit, this look is ideal for a casual day on the water or a beachside gathering. Pair it with classic espadrilles and a woven tote for a timeless nautical-inspired look that's both stylish and practical.
Shop the Look:
Longer, pleated shorts are perfect if you don't like showing too much leg.
Suede bags are one of the most covetable styles right now.
4. Date-Night Glam
Style Notes: A sunset dinner date isn't complete without a swishy dress. With its delicate floral print and flattering silhouette, this dress is perfect for an evening of cocktails and conversation. Complete the look with strappy heels and dainty jewellery.
Shop the Look:
I know I'll be getting so much wear out of these heels this season.
Tortoiseshell sunglasses are one of my go-to accessories to bring out in the spring.
I love how the Polo logo blends into the raffia weave.
5. Garden Party
Style Notes: Make a statement at any upscale garden party with a silk slip dress. This outfit exudes timeless sophistication with its simple yet classic silhouette. Pair it with white pumps and a clutch adorned with delicate floral embellishments for a pretty feel.

I'll take any excuse to wear a slingback.
