When it comes to chic vacations, Saint-Tropez always reigns supreme in my mind. The sun-kissed shores and glamorous surroundings give it that aura of effortless sophistication that can't be beaten. It's no surprise it's become a top travel destination for fashion people around the world. So whether you're indulging in a decadent dinner at a restaurant overlooking the ocean, embarking on a picturesque boat cruise, or just exploring the city's charming streets on foot, dressing the part is an absolute necessity. Luckily for you, I followed along (virtually) with Tanzanian model Flaviana Matata on her recent trip to the city. What did she pack, you ask? Longchamp, Longchamp, and more Longchamp. The iconic French brand kept her looking ultra stylish and laid-back (it's a beach town, after all) throughout every activity she embarked on. Planning your next trip? Before you say bon voyage, keep scrolling for Matata's Longchamp packing list.
For an evening at the esteemed restaurant Chez Camille, Matata went for a look that exuded understated elegance. She casually draped the varsity-inspired Longchamp jacket over the dress, juxtaposing laid-back and dressy vibes. To complete the ensemble, she added the iconic XS Roseau Bag, a symbol of Parisian-chic style that perfectly complements the effortless charm of the entire look.
Matata explored the entire city while she was in Saint-Tropez, which meant sneakers were a must. (Those cobblestone streets are no joke!) I loved her choice of simple ecru lace-ups that kept her looking cute and comfortable. The beaded crossbody is the perfect choice for staying hands-free while shopping. Styled with a breezy, orange logo shirt, Bermuda shorts, and a sweatshirt (for when the inevitable breeze picks up), it was an unbeatable outfit.
If you're looking for good vibes and incredible food, Le Café, located in the heart of Saint-Tropez's fishing port, won't disappoint. Matata opted for a 'fit that mirrored the venue's coastal charm. The sequined Longchamp coat is perfectly over-the-top and understated at the same time. She cinched her waist with a simple belt for a touch of tailored elegance and elevated the look with the ever-versatile bucket bag.
Look—if there's a body of water in my vacation destination, you bet I'll find myself a boat. In Saint-Tropez, Matata opted for the Les Bateaux Verts Boat Cruise for an afternoon full of sunshine. She then continued her day at Jardin Tropezina Beach Club for a leisurely lunch along the coastline. She shielded her eyes from the bright sun with a pair of Longchamp sunglasses (that I've been eyeing for quite some time, might I add). But the real star of the show was the strawberry-pink midi dress, which I can only imagine brought in dozens of compliments. She styled another Roseau bag effortlessly with the dress and topped off the look with gladiator-style sandals designed in collaboration with Saint-Tropez-based atelier K.Jacques.
