Nordstrom Is My Go-To Destination for Denim—6 Styles I'm Buying This Fall

Every fall, I get giddy at the thought of pulling out my jeans from storage and embracing my favorite worn-in pairs. Although the New York heat makes me lock my beloved denim away for months, I dust off my tried-and-true silhouettes every September to wear them for the rest of the year. Recently, I was shocked to find out how many of the pairs I had no longer worked with my closet, from ultra-trendy jeans to those I'd practically worn into the ground. My denim drawer was in need of a serious makeover. Like most closet dilemmas, that's where Nordstrom came in.

After digging deep into the brand's top-rated denim section, I found six can't-miss denim styles you'd be silly to miss out on ahead of the fall. From French-girl classics to the ultimate pair of dark-wash denim, these six styles are chic, comfortable, and shockingly still in stock. Run, don't walk, to buy these up before they sell out by October 1.

There's nothing quite as chic as dark-wash jeans. Deep indigo is set to dominate this fall and winter.

Chambray Shirts

For a sophisticated, elegant take on the classic Canadian tuxedo, opt for a snap-up shirt or chambray button-down for all of your fall ensembles.

Cuffed Jeans

Skip the tailor this season. Instead of perfectly cropped flares, cuffed jeans are all fashion people will be wearing for the rest of the year.

Black Jeans

As soon as the cold weather hits, one of the first denim styles that sells out is classic black-wash jeans. This elegant look is perfect if you're looking for a pair of jeans that's a bit dressier than other options out there.

Trucker Jackets

Is there anything quite as easy as layering an outfit with a trucker jacket? This billowy, boxy style is beloved by the Parisian style set.

Barrel Jeans

Love them or hate them, barrel jeans and horseshoe jeans are still a major part of the conversation in 2024. While our editors are firmly team barrel jeans, there's a pair out there for everyone, from dramatic silhouettes to subtler, more wearable styles.
