Our editors have the gift of incredible taste, and I don't just mean that they can spot a chic piece from a mile away (they can, though). I mean that they see a piece one time and have already curated a variety of on-trend looks to style with it in a matter of minutes. The inspiration is truly endless, and I can't keep their talents all to myself. Now that the holidays are officially here, I've been leaning on them more for fashion advice, and everything is coming up AG. This brand has had the editor stamp of approval for years now, but the holiday selection is particularly sublime. They have the feel of AG's classic and relaxed pieces, but with festive silhouettes and fabrics. (The corduroy options are calling my name.) As a gift to you (thank me later), I asked our New York editors to each style a look for all the holiday events coming up this season. If you're headed to a dinner party, going holiday shopping, or attending an intimate gift exchange, we have the perfect looks for you below.

"I gravitate towards brands that are equal parts high-quality and effortless, so AG always comes to mind for me when I'm on the hunt for some new staples. When I saw this suit, I knew it would be a must-have for all of the things on my agenda this time of year. From a chic brunch uptown to celebrate the holidays with friends and family to a glamorous holiday party downtown, I know something like this will give me options. I'm also excited to style the pants with a fun sweater or the blazer with a simple dress. Velvet holds weight this time of year, making it the perfect embellishment for any outfit. If you're at a loss for what to wear this season, let matching sets or velvet guide you and you're sure to look festive." — Sierra Mayhew, associate fashion editor

"I'm absolutely in love with the idea of combining brown and gray, especially with the contrasting textures of cashmere and velvet. It just feels like such a luxurious, high-end pairing in my eyes, especially this time of year. Brown is having a real moment right now, so it's been fun to play around with it and style it with colors I maybe wouldn't have in years past. Jeans are my go-to, plain and simple. I wear them probably four to five days a week, no matter the season, and have fun dressing them up or down depending on where I'm going. This pair in particular is so, so comfortable, with just the right amount of stretch, though they still maintain a nice snug feeling that holds you in where you want to be held in. I love that with AG, I can buy something once and it'll work year after year." — Eliza Huber, senior fashion editor

"Holiday dressing shouldn't differ too much from your typical everyday style. Yes, it's a time when you can experiment with something fun or more exciting, but don't let it be so radically different that you end up at a holiday gathering feeling out of your comfort zone. My holiday vibe is cozy, chic, and eclectic. I'll never sacrifice comfort for a good outfit, but I also won't show up underdressed either! Double-denim is something I frequently see among the British fashion set, and always with a sweater layered over the shoulders, a styling trick I mimicked with AG's cushiony-soft knitwear. Out of all the denim I've tried, this brand truly makes the softest, which is a big priority for me. I will most likely be wearing this look for a holiday gift exchange! Those are almost always at home and feel more cozy and intimate than a big party." — Yusra Siddiqui, associate fashion editor
