BREAKING: This Australian Label Is Doing Something Different at Fashion Week
We’ve just received a press release via IMG, that one of Australia’s most prestigious labels, Ellery, will be returning to Fashion Week Australia this year to celebrate its 10th anniversary. But it won’t be an ordinary fashion week show. True to form, Kym Ellery is doing something different, and celebrating a groundbreaking decade of fashion with a retrospective of the label’s most iconic looks from the brand’s archive.
The celebration is in partnership with Etihad Airways, also celebrating an anniversary—10 years of service to Australia and partnership with the global fashion industry.
Aside from Ellery’s retrospective presentation, the official Fashion Week Australia 2017 designer line-up is one worth getting very excited about. Dion Lee has been announced as the Mercedes-Benz Presents designer, opening the week on May 14, at 4pm. Sass & Bide, the brand you loved in the early 2000's, is back on the schedule after 14 years, showcasing its Resort collection for the first time ever—and it's already one of our most anticipated shows of the week.
Keep scrolling to discover the designers confirmed for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia 2017 and then revisit our coverage from last year.
