Trust Me—Buy These 19 Things
Trust Me—Buy This is a monthly series where our market editor, Nicole Eshaghpour, makes her favorite real-life fashion finds shoppable for Who What Wear readers.
In case you’re new to this, today I’ll be rounding up my favorite items of the moment with more of a personal spin than your usual shopping story. These special selects are the pieces I’ve been loving not only online but IRL too. With a little help from my shopping-focused Instagram account, @trustmebuythis, where I share my own snaps of items I’m into at the moment, I get to both show and tell you what I’m really wearing this month.
This time around, there are some pieces from my latest Zara kick, a few summer-ready accessories that have been conveniently marked down in the past few days, of-the-moment trends like bike shorts and tie-dye, and—of course—a mix of high-end investment pieces and budget-friendly steals I think you’ll love. Have I convinced you to stick with me here? Simply scroll down to read about and shop all 19 of my picks.
This $6 Zara tank is so good, I bought four of them. No, seriously—two in black and two in white. You know I love my basics, and how could I resist such a steal?!

Now that the weather has finally warmed up, I’ll be living in black sandals for the next few months. Currently, this is the pair I’m wearing on repeat to the office and on the weekends.

I'm not typically a sweatpants person, but something about a tracksuit really appeals to me. I think it's because you just look more put together in a set. Nonetheless, I plan on spending many off-duty days in this white outfit from here on out.

This belted blazer is another recent Zara buy that I couldn't be happier about it. Firstly, anything that comes with a belt makes life much easier because you don't have to worry about matching one yourself. Beyond that, I love how it's slightly long, so I can wear it with bike shorts but also with jeans.

This accidental-matching moment made for a great opportunity to show off these new Danse Lente bags that our editor, Lauren, and I love. I opted for cream and tan because I like how it lightens up an outfit, but I think there's no wrong choice here.

If you are very much into the anklet trend but afraid of coming up with your own anklet-sandal combo, then this collab is for you.

This outfit was my first-ever foray into long denim shorts, and I'm pretty sure I'm obsessed with them. They're perfect for those days where it's too hot for jeans, but short shorts won't work either. Also, these sandals are a new version of the black Tibi pair I wore all summer last year. Just when I thought they couldn't get any better, they came out in snakeprint.

I recently started working out and, aside from realizing that matching sets make dressing for the gym much easier, I also learned that cool sneakers are a big motivator, too.

Soon, this hoodie will have to stay on my desk chair for wearing in my air-conditioned office, but until the weather gets to that point, I'm very much enjoying wearing it out and about.
Shop the hoodie:
I wear this clear top-handle bag every nearly every day lately, and this pair of By Far kitten heels happened to be the perfect color to complrment it. They're that ideal height for wearing all day or out at night, too.
Shop the mules:
Last, but certainly not least, another tie-dye top because there is truly no limit to how big the trend will get this season.

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2024, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch Summer House.
