I'm an NYC Editor Who Just Got Back From Tulum—Here's Everything I Wore
A few days ago, I just got back to New York after enjoying a few days in Tulum, Mexico, celebrating my good friend's bachelorette party before her romantic European wedding this summer. I had the best time going to cenotes, seeing the ruins, beach clubs, and having tacos for basically every meal at some of the most beautiful restaurants. I loved the whole jungle vibe, and of course, when prepping for this trip, the first thing on my mind was, What am I going to wear? I take vacation outfits very seriously.
I take this as my opportunity to go all out and wear something really special. This trip I was all about the swimwear, accessories, minidresses, and strappy sandals. Keep scrolling to check out my Tulum looks as well as other great vacation options I’ve been eyeing.

This outfit may be my favorite of all of my vacation looks. I’m wearing a dress from Bronx and Banco that I got from Revolve. I styled it with strappy heeled flip flops from Steve Madden and the YSL leather shoulder bag and topped off the look with accents of gold jewelry. I was going for a neutral jungle vibe without being too obvious and wearing animal print, I loved how this dress fit on me, the ruffles on the hem were so fun and added a little something to the look.
For our boat day, I had to go with a classic black bikini. The one I wore was from Melissa Odabash, which has quickly become one of my new favorite swimwear brands. This bikini was so comfortable I didn’t want to take it off. When it comes to sunnies, I’ve always leaned towards a classic pair from Ray-Ban. I just got these from Nordstrom and I’ll be wearing them all summer long.

It took being in Mexico about 30 seconds for me to put on this cowboy hat. I am such a fan of the Western aesthetic and felt like this hat would be the perfect choice for my beach headwear. This Monday Swimwear bikini is everything—I love the bold shade of orange I chose for this swim look, lately I’ve been drawn to all things orange for summer. I wore my new Ray-Bans with this look as well.

There was no way I was going on a tropical vacation and not packing a great one-piece look. I am officially obsessed with the quality of Monday Swimwear’s suits and this leopard-print one-piece with a cutout was exactly what I wanted. I styled this look with a bucket hat, gold earrings, and fun orange sunnies.

This dress speaks for itself. I wore this look on our first night there to Rosa Negra. This Retrofete Gabrielle robe dress comes in so many colors, but I am so happy I went with this purple shade. I got so many compliments on this look, I styled it with bright blue sandals from JLo's collection at DSW and the Saint Laurent Kate Small Monogram Grain de Poudre Crossbody Bag on Chain in white, and of course gold jewelry. I love the deep-V neckline on this dress, it really felt like I was just wearing the world’s most glamorous robe.
