It's an Editor Thing—20 Items I Know You'll Never Regret Buying

I have been an editor at Who What Wear for seven years now and have learned a ton during my time here. While there are many seasoned tricks I now have up my sleeve due to my experience thus far, there is one skill I am particularly proud of, and that is knowing what pieces to buy for a lasting and relevant wardrobe.
Call the aforementioned category basics if you must, but if the past couple of years have taught me anything, it's that basics aren't boring, they are a way of life. They are the lifeblood of a sturdy wardrobe, and below, I have selected 10 relevant yet timeless pieces I know you'll never regret buying. Featuring black ankle boots, perfect carryalls, and even some party-ready pieces, a wardrobe filed with any of the below is a good one; trust me.
A tube top is great worn alone with a sleek maxi skirt or layered underneath a heavy jacket.
Trust me; investing in a designer cardholder is always worth it.
Leather skirts will always feel relevant in my book, and this one looks insanely expensive.
As someone who personally owns this bag, I can assure you you'll get so many compliments on it.
Satin outerwear is about to be a major trend next year.
Editors can't stop talking about these Agolde recycled leather pants.
Textured tops like this always make just the right amount of a statement.
I pretty much consider feathers a basic by now and I think you should too.
Last but not least, please treat yourself to a luxe robe this holiday season. You deserve it.
