Listen Up: These 5 Fall Outfits From Nordstrom Deserve a Moment

Welcome to Weekday Wardrobe, a series in which one Who What Wear editor or staffer will snap a pic of the outfits they wear from Monday to Friday. We'll break down where you can shop it all to inspire your own everyday style, no matter what's on your weekly agenda.
I'm a fashion editor, but even I sometimes look at my closet and think to myself, I have nothing to wear. I've been having more of those days than I'd like lately, so I decided to do a little Nordstrom haul for some new pieces. The retailer has the crème de la crème of fall fashion. I found so many cute items, and my outfits last week were seriously on point because of it. Whether I was heading into a day full of meetings in an under-$100 matching set or just staying at home and working from my kitchen in (the world's coziest) sweatpants, I was feeling chic. Here's a peek at my week in case you're in need of some inspo.
Monday
I've made a consistent effort to start out strong with my style on Mondays. Some weeks I'm successful, and others I fail—but, hey, I'm trying! This Monday, I kept my promise to myself and worked the day away in this cool (and incredibly affordable) matching moment. I've been loving vests this year—especially in Los Angeles, where "fall" consists of sunny days not always suitable for a full suiting situation.
Tuesday
I swapped my usual blue denim out for a pair of ecru wide-leg jeans, and it took my look from casual to elevated in a matter of seconds. (Why is it that neutrals always feel so polished?) The ribbed sweater tank is another ode to Los Angeles fall since I would have been sweating if I tried to wear anything with sleeves.
Wednesday
I'm a sucker for a good dress, and this one from Topshop immediately stole my heart. The cozy knit material! The creamy color! The midi length! Lately, I've been all about pairing my midi- and maxi-length pieces with tall boots, and these black riding boots were the perfect match. I love the contrast of the neutral dress and dark color of the boots—it feels really elevated.
Thursday
I could lie and say that I put this cozy 'fit on after work to curl up on the couch while binge-watching TV with my husband, but that would be a lie. I wore it all day. But, hey, I already gave it my all this week! This sweatshirt is not only beyond comfy but also has shoulder-pad inserts that feel extra cool. And the Ugg slippers are a must for the chillier days.
Friday
If you looked up "casual Fridays" in the dictionary, I'm pretty sure this model-off-duty look would come up. Bomber jackets are back and cooler than ever, so this distressed brown one from Topshop was a no-brainer. I kept the outfit casual with a baseball hat, an editor-favorite pair of Agolde jeans, and a retro-looking pair of Adidas.
