It's Not Quite Fall, But I'm Already Shopping These 31 Styles in Preparation

It may feel like summer will go on for another 100 days—and it just might where I live in Los Angeles, TBH—but I'm here to tell you that it's almost time to switch gears. Call me impatient, or maybe call me an overachiever (preferred), but I'm already stocking up on fall items like denim, long-sleeve dresses and tops, boots, and light outerwear. I blame this first glimpse at Scoop's freshly-dropped fall collection. Exclusively available at Walmart, this line of affordable, on-trend items has been a go-to of mine for a couple of years now. (I actually won't shut up about the brand, but that's another story.) You can't go wrong with any of the under-$100 items in the collection, but these 31, as seen on the five fashionable ladies below, are my absolute favorites.
A sweater-vest adds an instant cool factor to any look. Layer it over a top or wear it alone. You really can't go wrong.
Fall fashion usually involves a ton of neutrals, so this monochromatic look really stands out. The sneakers add to the casual, effortless vibe.
Shackets! You heard it here first (or maybe you already heard it): The shacket trend is still going strong for 2021. This pink-check iteration is seriously cozy.
If you're in the mood to serve some seriously chic vibes, then look no further than this outfit. It's the scrunched blazer with the faux-leather pants and quilted bag that are doing it for me.
My fall uniform is always a dress, ankle boots, and a coat because they're so polished and easy to throw together. This look perfectly proves my point.
Pro tip: This wrap top can also be worn open over a turtleneck or tank. Thank me later.
The over-the-knee boots and the fringe bag really take this look to the next level. What would we do without accessories?
I love the time of year when it's not too hot to wear a sweater but not too cold that you have to wear boots yet. This is the outfit I'll be wearing on those days.
The easiest way to elevate a matching loungewear set is by adding a cool, oversize jacket. Plus, it's the closest thing to wearing pajamas in public without actually wearing pajamas in public.
I can't explain how much use I get out of faux-leather leggings during colder months. I usually style mine with a long sweater and chunky boots, but I love the way they look here with a T-shirt, cardigan, and heeled booties.
I'll be wearing this printed dress with sandals for now but layering on a faux-suede jacket and quilted bag in berry hues when the weather permits.
