I Think These 7 Everyday Items Can Enhance Anyone's Wardrobe
While I have a few statement-making items sprinkled among my wardrobe, it's those more everyday fashion purchases that make up the bulk of my offering. You know, those practical pieces that are versatile and easy to wear. For the most part, my style skews on the simple side, so these more simple-in-nature items seem to just work best for me. Given my adoration for useful buys, I thought I’d share with you some of the key items I think are worth noting for fall.
The pieces in question could work for a range of styles and can more or less act as anchors to a wardrobe given that they can all be mixed and matched to create a smattering of outfits to wear on the regular. I’m talking about items from cozy oversize knits to sleek tailoring silhouettes that could become go-tos in a daily rotation.
With all that in mind, keep scrolling for a breakdown of the seven pieces I think can enhance anyone’s wardrobe thanks to the versatility aspect and easy-to-style nature.
1. Shacket
The shacket (a shirt and jacket mix) continues to make its rounds among the style crowd as a top outerwear pick for transitional temperatures. I love how it can add a stylish twist to any simple ensemble.
2. Ribbed Dress
In the dress realm, it's those ribbed-knit dresses in neutral hues that are front-runners for the season. That perfect pick is comfy to wear at home and can also easily be dressed up with accessories.
3. Sweater-Vest
A sweater-vest is definitely a trendier piece for the season, but it also skews classic as well when worn on its own or as a layering element. I think this item is worth trying because it's fashion-forward but easy to wear.
4. Slouchy Blazer
You just can't beat a slouchy blazer for a polished and modern vibe. Seriously. Tossing one over any ensemble—even a casual running-around 'fit—will enhance your look that much more.
5. Wide-Leg Trousers
I think a pair of wide-leg trousers could become a go-to basic given their sleek and comfortable nature. I also think that perfect pair will bring a chic spin to an ensemble.
6. Loose Sweater
A roomier sweater is a great everyday item for the cozy factor. Additionally, I think a loose knit will make an outfit feel current and high-end as well.
7. Oversize Shirt
The white button-down shirt has reigned supreme throughout the year, and it's worth noting again as a practical, easy, and chic must-have to be worn with just about anything.
