I'm Committed to Stepping Up My Fall Shoe Game—These 12 Boots Are Key
Sponsor Content Created With Clarks
No matter how hard I try, I can never resist a good pair of boots during the fall season. Can you blame me? I'm surrounded by incredibly stylish people at work and on the streets of NYC every single day. Even when I'm not working, clothes and shoes are always on my mind. I've made a mental note of all of the boots that have my attention this season, and they all happen to be from Clarks.
This shouldn't come as a shock since Clarks has been making sure that we can all step up our shoe game comfortably and fashionably for years. It's a brand you'll want to keep coming back to season after season, and content creator Devin Apollon can attest to that. This Gen Z creator is always bringing a fun and exciting approach to her looks, but she never strays too far from the classics. If you want to see how she styled three fall 'fits featuring Clarks boots, just keep scrolling.
If I ever feel like I'm bored with the looks I'm mentally creating, I head to Devin's page for inspiration. Her style is playful and unexpected, taking core pieces and pairing them with colors, textures, and silhouettes in an interesting way. "Fall style is so different for everyone, but personally, I admire a good jacket, cool boots, and a pop of color with the purse," she says. This ensemble is exactly that. Devin created a head-to-toe neutral look, mixing two different kinds of pleats with this taupe plissé top and pleated miniskirt. Despite being a neutral shade, the Pique Up boots immediately grab your attention and act as the pop of color needed to add height, comfort, and dimension to the outfit. I don't know about you, but I'm already sifting through my closet and pressing "add to cart" so I can re-create this look.
All it takes is a quick scroll through Devin's Instagram to see that statement styles reign supreme. For a stroll in the city, Devin wore these fun tiger-printed pants with an off-the-shoulder white top and her trusty pair of Clarks boots, of course. Picking the Colden Up boots in black would have been the predictable choice, but leave it to Devin to keep us on our toes and make every look as interesting as possible. She calls fall her favorite season "because there are no limits." Devin and I are on the same page when we say that the boots really make the outfit. "Clarks not only brings in that comfort element, but it makes you look cool and approachable as well," she says.
Devin has mastered the art of transitioning her looks from day to night. With a busy schedule full of events, social gatherings, and the impromptu street photo shoot, it's important for Devin to be able to wear one look that works for each event. "Jackets and boots are my secret to taking looks from one event to the next," she says. She went for a chic all-black ensemble that just screams "NYC It girl." I mean, the fur-trim coat paired with the sleek leather boots is everything. Pro tip: "When looking to purchase shoes, I always think [about] how I can wear them in multiple ways. I can walk around the city all day in my Clarks. It just really is that good," Devin says. I'm not ashamed to say that these photos have already been added to my fall mood board, and the Pique Up boots are already en route to me.
