This Is the One Celebrity I Want to Dress Like This Summer

I have turned to the same celebrities—Sienna Miller, Alexa Chung and Victoria Beckham—for style inspiration for almost a decade. However, this year, I have added someone else to this list, model Elsa Hosk. She experiments with trending Instagram pieces, such as chain belts, neon green and zebra print but blends these viral items within her wardrobe of basics and timeless investment pieces so that the trends she plays with never feel throwaway. Most of her looks revolve around denim, so it makes sense that she has teamed up with L.A.-based denim label J Brand to create a collection of jeans that are flattering but have a slightly unexpected fashion edge.

"I was inspired by different eras," Elsa tells Who What Wear of the capsule. "One style (which is one of my favorites) has a round '80s fit with buttons at the pockets in the most perfect light-blue wash. There is also a wide '70s fit and a straight fit that's very now. I wanted all the styles to be comfortable, flattering and cool for every woman to find something that fits her body shape and personal style. When you put a pair of great jeans on, it can really change the way you feel."

This feel-good factor is bolstered by the sustainable production. "All styles in the capsule feature sustainable elements," adds Hosk. This is achieved by "an eco wash, which significantly reduces the water used during production; tags, trims and hardware made of recycled and/or sustainable materials; and the use of recycled cotton wherever possible."

On Elsa: J Brand Monday Wide-Leg High-Rise Jeans (£285)

The silhouette that Hosk has been repeatedly wearing on her Instagram this month is the Monday wide-leg high-rise in ecru. "My favorite style is always changing," she says. "Right now, it would be looser ones, especially in the summer when it is so hot out. I also love straight, round and flared!" Her favourite way to style jeans in the height of summer is with "a simple tank top with some jewellery, a nice sandal and an oversized blazer at night." Other items that are on Hosk's summer hotlist are tiny bags, big jeans with a statement belt, heeled strappy sandals, bodysuits and vintage blazers. Keep scrolling to see how she has been wearing these this summer.
