7 Rich-Looking Trends Women in Paris Are Wearing This Fall
My current vibe is autumn in Paris. Even though I live 5642 miles away in Los Angeles, I relish in the effortlessly chic French-girl look more than ever in fall. I'm all about Parisian classics such as relaxed blazers, trench coats, chic ankle boots, cute cardigans, and pleated trousers, to name but a few stylish staples French women gravitate to in fall.
While perusing some of my favorite French-girl Instagram accounts, I've been particularly drawn to the more elegant trends chic Parisian women have been sporting this season—items that will instantly make your outfits richer-looking. From sumptuous suede jackets and bags to deep burgundy hues, below I'm sharing the seven expensive-looking trends women in Paris are wearing this fall. The best part is you don't have to be rich to look rich. In fact, I'm sharing pieces for all budgets below. Keep scrolling to get the elegant-looking autumn-in-Paris vibe.
Sumptuous Suede
One trend that's dominating the streets of Paris right now is luxe-looking suede. From cool oversize jackets to chic tote bags in tan, brown, and neutrals, stylish Parisians are opting to elevate their basics with this expensive-looking fabric.
Chocolate-Brown Hues
Deep and rich chocolate-brown hues are everywhere right now. Whether you opt for a relaxed sweater or chic ballet flats, adding the color in your wardrobe will have you looking altogether on-trend.
Classic Trench Coat
There's no doubt about it: A trench coat will make your entire outfit 10 times chicer and more elegant. Whether you go for a classic silhouette or one with elevated details such as a funnel neck or car coat, it's the one item French women always rely on.
Soft and Sleek Sweaters
Sweater season is in full swing in Paris, and we're seeing soft and sleek knits in rich-looking hues such as navy, olive, and brown reign supreme. Just add straight-leg jeans and ankle boots for an effortless Parisian look.
Ladylike Heels
Feminine and polished pointed-toe kitten heels are out in full force this season, adding an elegant-looking touch to every fall outfit.
Burgundy Accessories
One luxurious trend you'll spot all over Paris right now is pops of burgundy and merlot accessories. From shoulder bags to belts and kitten heels, the deep hue works with practically everything in your wardrobe.
Luxe-Looking Leather
Soft leather fabrics add a rich look to knit sweaters and basics. A leather midi skirt paired with a sweater or an oversize leather jacket paired with jeans is the perfect way to take on the trend.
