I Love Elegant Denim Outfits—7 Chic Ways to Wear Jeans in 2024
When it comes to putting together a casual denim outfit, I have it down to a science (with the low-key wardrobe to fit), but lately, I've been yearning to bring my usual denim looks to the next level. Essentially, I am focused on giving my favorite jeans an elegant, more expensive-looking feel this season. When in need of inspiration, I naturally turn to my top fashion follows on Instagram to get a fresh set of styling tips. This latest perusal more than exceeded my expectations.
As we continue through 2024, some particular elevated pieces are key in achieving an elegant denim outfit. These pieces range from chic outerwear to kitten heels and slingback heels to classic basics like tees and button-downs, loafers, cozy sweaters, and more. Ahead, I rounded up seven chic ways to wear jeans and broke down how to re-create each stylish look.
1.
Marilyn Nwawulor-Kazemaks elevates her classic ankle-length jeans with chunky hoop earrings, a long black coat, a red suede shoulder bag, burgundy socks, and black loafers.
2.
Sasha Mei is the epitome of effortlessness in an oversize white button-down shirt, a mini woven bag, relaxed light-wash jeans, and crystal-embellished mule pumps.
3.
Clara Dyrhauge is known for her elevated minimalist looks, and this dark-wash-denim outfit is no different with the help of a white tee, a belted trench coat, and black slingback kitten heels.
Dark-denim crush.
4.
Sylvie Mus poses in Paris with cool black sunglasses, a beautiful brown coat, a sleek white turtleneck top, slim-straight jeans, and strappy kitten heels.
5.
Marianne Smyth is polished yet edgy with black cat-eye sunglasses, a dark taupe turtleneck sweater, a brown leather bag, high-waisted jeans, and slightly square-toe black ankle boots.
6.
Abisola Omole looks painfully chic in a long beige coat, a white ribbed top, a neutral embossed bag, raw-hem jeans, and jewel-adorned slingback heels.
7.
Camille Charrière shows us one surefire way to bring a denim look to the next level: Throw on a warm blazer or jacket and a waist-cinching belt. Complete the look with a classic pair of shoes, including boots, loafers, or even heels.
