I've Been Taking Notes, and These 5 Cool NYC Outfits Pass the Test
One of my favorite things about working at Who What Wear is that I get to work with so many amazing, creative people who also happen to have great style. While that’s a given, being surrounded by such well-dressed people who know what they're talking about when it comes to fashion and know their way around a great outfit has honestly helped me up my own style game. I find myself always looking to them and their Instagram feeds for inspiration when I'm thinking, What should I wear? Not all of my co-workers dress the same, and while they’re all super chic, they don’t all go for the same vibe. On my lastest deep dive for great fall outfit inspiration, I found five super-easy yet stylish outfits worn by our L.A.- and NYC-based editors that I’ll be copying all season.

Slip Dress + Western Boots
This is my go-to look for a warm fall day. When I wore this Nili Lotan slip dress on one of our last warm days in NYC, I received so many compliments. Nothing says fall like this deep chocolate brown, and the Western boots add the perfect trendy touch. You can add a flat-brim hat or a Western-inspired belt if you really want to go for the full urban-cowgirl look.
Bodysuit + Maxi Skirt
Eliza is the master of a simple-yet-elevated cool-girl look. She wore this to fashion week, and I was so obsessed with it. A good bodysuit is the ultimate basic and can be so chic. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing maxi skirts like this all season long.
Cropped Sweater + High-Waisted Trousers
Aniyah has such a great sense of style, and her personality always comes through in the way she puts together her stellar ’fits. This schoolgirl-inspired look on her is so good that I’m planning on copying it immediately. Cropped sweaters are the perfect trendy and flirty fall top. I’m into it.
Button-Down + Blazer + Denim
Anna always understands the assignment. While this outfit may seem like a no-brainer, the way she styled it is so polished yet relaxed and cool. I’m adding this to my "what to wear to work” folder.
Black Knit + Straight-Leg Denim + Mules
Kristen has the most consistent and chic aesthetic ever. I am always in awe of how she can put on just a black sweater and jeans and look perfect. This look is so versatile—you can wear this from work to a dinner out to a get-together with friends so easily.
