These Three Colours Are Taking Over Fashion Week (And Your Life)
With Fashion Week Australia nearing its end for another year, the season’s major trends have become obvious, reappearing time and time again on and off the runways. So far, 2018 has been a year of bright, bold colours, but based on what we’ve seen throughout the week, things are about to get a lot more subdued.
More neutral-based, earthy tones were everywhere at Fashion Week Australia with three in particular standing out: moss green, sky blue, and chocolate brown. While we love the bright colours we’ve been seeing thus far, something about this more relaxed palette just feels so cool. Just in time for autumn, these hues not only make an elegant statement on their own, but also work extremely well paired together (as proven by Albus Lumen).
If the recent ultra-bright trend didn’t really suit your style—or skin tone, we know, it’s hard to pull off—then now is the time to rejoice: They’re about to be replaced. If you need proof that these shades are about to steal the show, keep scrolling to see our favourite examples from on and off of the runways. And if you’re feeling convinced already, we’ve even shopped out a few of our favourite pieces to get you started on the trend yourself.
