I Love Diptyque Candles—Here's My Secret to Getting Your Hands on All the Scents

Since moving house, I've become obsessed with luxury candles. In fact, I've made it my mission to have a candle proudly on display in each corner of my home. Not only do they look great, but they make my house smell super expensive and earn me so many compliments whenever my friends or family pop round for a coffee. I've collected various scents from different brands over the years, from Jo Malone to The White Company and more. However, there's one brand in particular that I can't get enough of. That's right, I'm talking about Diptyque. The French perfume house is known for its chic packaging and luxurious fragrances, and the candles are no exception.

As much as I love them, the first time I went to buy a Diptyque candle, I was completely overwhelmed by all of the different scents. I had no idea which one to go for, and I left the store confused and empty-handed. It's no secret that these candles aren't cheap, with the classic size setting you back £56 each, so I wanted to make sure I loved the fragrance before investing. After asking some of my friends which one to go for, one of them told me about the Diptyque candle set, and after trying it out myself, I can't believe that more people don't know about it.

So, what is the Diptyque candle set? This luxury gift contains 12 mini versions of the brand's most popular scents, and it's the perfect way to try each one out for yourself before investing in a full-size version. I'm a big fan of the smaller candles as I can have a couple in every room, and after burning each one, I've decided which fragrances I want to invest in for the new year. My personal favourites have to be Santal, Vanille and 34, as they all have super-cosy, warming aromas that make my home feel so inviting. Not only are the scents incredible, but I think that this set is great value for money too. Don't get me wrong—£186 is still an investment, but considering just how many Diptyque products you get, it's a great deal.

One thing I kept thinking after getting my hands on the discovery set was that it would make a perfect Christmas gift for any lover of luxury beauty or interiors. I actually plan on treating my mum to one this year, as she always comments how nice the candles are whenever she comes to my flat. They come housed in a chic black box with the brand's signature logo, which also makes a lovely keepsake to display proudly at home. If you don't fancy all 12 candles, you can also buy a set of five, so there are plenty of gifting options to choose from. All in all, if you love Diptyque as much as I do, then I couldn't recommend this enough.
