This Is The Reason Why Fashion Girls Are Wearing This Skirt in Paris Today

Before the Dior Spring 2018 show in Paris, we noticed that everyone's looks had one similar common thread, and when we gave it some thought, realised it must have been intentional. The fashion crowd all wore full skirts in a range of sheer tulle, coloured leather, paisley print, feathers, and pleats.
Since Christian Dior appointed Maria Grazia Chiuri in 2016, we've seen a return to the label's core femininity in its designs. Full skirts and a celebration of the female silhouette are dotted throughout each collection. It was Dior that pioneered the high-waist, full skirt shape back in the '50s, and it's still championing the same look today. From Emily Ratajkowski to Alexa Chung, the fashion crowd paid homage to Dior's history, and all wore the 2017 version of the full skirt to the show.
