David Beckham Breaks Instagram Record in Less Than One Week

In case you aren’t one of the millions who already follow David Beckham on Instagram, here’s why you should. The soccer stud joined days ago and already has over 4.6 million followers. We’re not super surprised as he made his debut with a shirtless photo of himself snuggled in bed (see below). According to David’s feed, he had a wonderful time celebrating his 40th birthday with friends and family—even more proof the Beckhams live a picture-perfect life!

Update: Harper’s Bazaar reports David Beckham as the owner of the fastest-growing Instagram account in the world. He’s collected over 5.5 million followers in less than one week—snagging the record from previous holder Emma Watson.
