Pack Your Bags—I've Already Planned Your 2022 Vacations
Mark my words: 2022 is the year where we are all going to start living again. The past few years have made getting together with loved ones and exploring new places not so easy, but it's time for that all to change. While we're playing it safe this winter, I am manifesting that from spring to fall, we will be launching a thousand little ships out to beautiful and serene destinations that we've been dying to visit. January is the month when I begin to plan my trips for the year, and I have too many good ones to keep to myself.
For me, peaceful travel is the best. I'm not quite one for endless partying or exploring an entire city in one day. That's why I've paired these travel looks with resorts that you can lounge in all day because honestly, that's what you deserve when you finally catch the break you've been longing for. Packing for a trip has sent me into a frenzy in the past but in 2022, we're all about having a plan and executing it smoothly especially when it comes to fashion. Dressing for comfort is key because after all, you are on vacation. I'll be wearing the four looks below on my trips and making sure my stays are scenic enough for an aesthetically pleasing background. Scroll down to see what's on my vision board…
If you're looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway, this is it. Malibu Beach Inn is just under an hour away from the heart of Los Angeles, making it the perfect destination for someone in need of a break from the city or a traveler who would like to explore both. Your room will overlook the Pacific Ocean, making for a beautiful sunrise every morning that you spend there. Every time I travel to Los Angeles, I lean heavily on my timeless wardrobe pieces. I'd suggest sticking to the classics to blend in with the beautiful aesthetic of this location.

An oversize button-down over a bikini is the move.
Wearing white jeans year-round is my kind of fashion statement.
Aspen is a winter wonderland this time of year, so if you haven't made it out west for a ski trip yet this winter, book it now. This hotel is a historic destination that will transport you to another world. I love any hotel that is walkable and the location is perfect when you visit Hotel Jerome. You are right in the heart of Aspen and there is so much to explore après ski. After hitting the slopes, comfort is a big priority so you'd find me bundled up in winter accessories that are so soft you'd think they're a second skin. With a cup of hot chocolate in hand, try out these winter goods.

I often need a break from my favorite beanie, and in that case, I suggest playing around with a baseball cap.
I'm finally on board with Uggs being back, and short is the way to go.
I just bought this scarf in black, and now I think I need cream as well.
Wine tastings galore, it's a dream to spend a spring or autumn afternoon in the beautiful Napa Valley. The Francis House is a destination that comes straight out of a storybook. It actually looks just like a scene from Princess and the Frog so naturally, I'm obsessed. You really get a small boutique hotel experience when staying here which is honestly my favorite. Exploring this part of California is all about scenic wine tastings, perhaps some golf or hiking, and maybe a dip in a hot spring. For this type of trip, I would look for fun ways to elevate luxurious loungewear sets or flowy dresses. Below, I suggest a chic set that will kinda sorta match the wine.

This silk blouse will also look good dressed up with a good skirt and heels.
Tulum has popped up so much on my Instagram feed over the past few years, and I'm so excited to make my way there sometime soon. I feel like it is the best place to experiment with color and Hotel Panamera makes for such a great background for any brightest that you wear. I'm sure you've seen the checkerboard pool before, it's truly iconic. Getting a glimpse of their interiors made me want to fully re-do my home decor interest board, I'm obsessed. A trip to Mexico would certainly inspire me to pull out a statement maxi dress with chic accessories to match. When the bag matches the dress I'm a happy girl.

I've already seen this top worn on the beach and I'm obsessed.
Another button-down shirt I would throw over my favorite bikini.

Sierra Mayhew was always destined to work in fashion, but she didn't know it at first. Growing up with no choice but to wear a rotation of school uniforms and activewear, her love for fashion really blossomed when she moved away for college and was able to finally define her very own personal style. Shortly thereafter, she interned at Elle magazine and instantly knew that editorial was for her. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, she worked for ShopBazaar, contributing regularly to Bazaar.com, and finally made her way to Who What Wear, where she is an associate editor. When she’s not working, you can catch her always trying to catch a flight, trying the latest fitness craze in New York City, or exploring luxury vintage boutiques.
