Few things are as Insta famous as Cult Gaia's Ark Bag, which became a hit among fashion girls this past summer. The $88 Japanese-inspired bamboo bag sold out a few months ago and had a waiting list of 1800 people at one point. Its unique geometric shape and beautiful artisan design made it the statement bag everyone clamored over, and there are no signs of the It bag slowing down. The brand has only become more popular thanks to everyone from Jessica Alba and Jules Sariñana giving the crescent-shaped bag their seal of approval. So it comes as no surprise that designer Jasmin Larian would want to roll out a new version.
While it won't be available until 2017, you can preorder it now through November 30 on Moda Operandi. The new $225 design is reimagined using acrylic and features a pearl finish. According to WWD, Cult Gaia will also be introducing a mini version of the original bamboo Ark Bag as well as a collapsible style and release the new pearl bag on January 15 on CultGaia.com. If the bamboo style is any indication, we'd suggest preordering this beauty now before it sells out yet again.
