Cozy, Chic, and Trendy: 30 Finds That Are Actually Getting Me Excited for Fall
It's official: Tomorrow marks the start of fall. Don't get me wrong—summer is definitely my favorite season, but to be honest, New York Fashion Week got me more excited for sweater weather than I ever thought possible. I've been particularly influenced by the opulent dinner that Who What Wear co-hosted with our new sister brand, Marie Claire. I'm not going to lie: I was living vicariously through the Instagram posts of event goers imbibing on the picturesque rooftop and dining by candlelight. Everyone in attendance—editors, staffers, influencers, and celebs—dressed to impress, and their outfits did not disappoint. I saw so many of-the-moment trends and elevated pieces including sweater-vests, suiting, silk dresses, and elegant coats. And since I obviously love beauty, I'm inspired to stock up on some fall beauty essentials, particularly a good moisturizer and some red lipstick. Keep reading to see my complete fall wish list inspired by this star-studded event.
The luxe cashmere and gold buttons really elevate this sweater-vest.
In my book, Skims can do no wrong. If you wore the brand's Sleeveless Maxi ($84) all summer, you need the long-sleeved one for fall.
This vegan-leather handbag looks so much more expensive than it actually is. I was in shock when I saw the price tag.
A white cable-knit sweater is my absolute favorite fall staple.
I'm in love with this midnight-navy dress. I'll be wearing it under a leather jacket for date night.
Speaking of leather jackets, layer this over basically any dress, put on a pair of boots, and you have a fall outfit.
It's time to swap in a warmer, spicier scent like this one.
A sophisticated tweed jacket is one of my favorite new trends.
How cozy does this dress look? I'm adding it to my cart immediately.
I love the ruffled neckline for a dainty twist on a classic turtleneck.
I love a lip and cheek tint for a monochromatic makeup look. This creamy, hydrating formula also adds an extra dewiness to my skin, which I always welcome.
Sorry, but you should probably trade in your Barbie-pink handbag for this merlot one.
My skin is already dry, but the chilly weather makes it even drier. I'm reaching for this dreamy moisturizer with Swiss apple, ginkgo biloba, and macadamia oil to hydrate my skin and bring back the radiance.
I think we all know a trench coat is an essential. If you want a neutral that isn't black or beige, go for this gray one.
Over-the-knee boots are so in this fall. The suede fabric adds an extra-luxe touch.
This iconic lip mask now comes in a delicious caramel-apple flavor that is just what I want right now.
Your favorite white sweater, now in dress form.
The name says it all. The forest-green hue is so fitting for fall.
