33 New Pieces from COS, Mango and Arket That Will Transform Your Winter Wardrobe

When it comes to shopping on the high street, there are a few shops that we consistently rely on as they always deliver solid investment buys at reasonable price points. Whenever we're in need of premium-looking pieces at a moment's notice, COS, Mango and ARKET have become our go-tos, especially for the kind of wardrobe staples that continue to look good year-round, and the holy trifecta of the high street are gearing up for a very stylish season ahead.
As the standard of affordable offerings continues to get better and better, COS, Mango and ARKET lead the way with exclusive collections and a lot of instant successes, and this year has been no exception. Although our wardrobes are already filled with COS' luxury basics, it was a perfectly designed bag that became an overnight sensation, and took over the Who What Wear editor's group chat–remember the leather crossbody bag? (Don't worry if you missed it, keep scrolling for the latest new colourway). Mango are always on our radar, as well as the A-list's, and this year we spotted Sienna Miller, Alexa Chung, Katie Holmes and Gigi Hadid in the same coat (and thankfully for us, it's just been restocked). And of course, to Arket, whose simple Hopsack Blazer was one of the most viewed pieces on the Who What Wear site in the last twelve months, and whenever anyone asks me where to find the perfect tailored jacket, it's always my first response.
So where better to start looking for the next It buys for your winter wardrobe than the big three? There's no better time to check out their brand new pieces to add to your wish list for the months ahead.
Expect sharp tailoring, slick basics and wardrobe staples from COS, snuggly knits, polished accessories from Mango, and pops of colour, designer looking pieces and cold-weather must-haves from ARKET. Keep scrolling for the standout pieces you won't want to miss and your winter wardrobe will benefit from. Happy shopping!
1. ELEVATED ESSENTIALS FROM COS
It sold out in black, and blue, and red. And its now back in tan and chocolate brown.
Slim leg, tailored fit? Check. Our favourite print this winter? Check.
Be prepared for the best of great British weather in a chill-proof puffer.
2. COSY CLASSICS FROM MANGO
Nail the look of chic layering with this very clever cashmere knit.
Wear now with a thick wool coat and knee-high boots, and in spring with a jacket and flats.
Denim is getting a dressier update next season, so this is as good a place as any to start.
Any tall boot with a sculptural finish and square toe gets my instant approval.
Its fashion law that every wardrobe has a mandatory cream chunky knit. It's the foundation for countless winter outfits.
But if you fancy something a little more modern, try this bold, colour block sweater.
The kind of easy, luxe looking tote to pair with outfits all year round.
It's impossible to be cold in a fluffy bucket hat, and Instagram agrees.
Another transitional piece you can wear layered up for winter, and stripped back just spring. Just add a pointy ankle boot.
Until our love affair with Breton jumpers is over, you'll find us wearing this for the foreseeable.
The easy way to inject a pop of colour into an understated, neutral outfit.
It's been a good year for cowboy boots, and these tan suede ones are perfect for anyone looking for a way to subtly nod to the trend.
3. TRENDING COLOUR BLOCKING FROM ARKET
Wear sized up with a baggy boyfriend jean and loafers for an easy weekend uniform.
Instead of buying the same black coat every year, why not experiment with a bold shade of cobalt blue. It's surprisingly versatile.
If I were to round up all of the chicest knits on the high street right now, this would easily top the list. Everything about this silhouette is exquisite.
And speaking of elegant, this coat proves you need never choose between fashion or function again.
An everyday ankle boot guaranteed to add polish to everything in your wardrobe.
Okay, I'll admit it. I'm scarf obsessed. But a good print and colour have the ability to transform simple looks into something special.
After living in wide leg trousers for, well, forever, I'm happy to say I've found a new, and equally good trouser shape. A slightly cropped kick flare ideal for ankle boots.
It doesn't get better than a cashmere knit + tailored trousers.
Winter is getting colder each year, and balaclavas like this are our first line of defence against the elements.
