& Other Stories, COS and Arket Just Launched Incredible Sales—These Are My Picks

I love a good new season sale. Mostly because you end up being able to snag classic in-season buys that you can wear right now, as well as throughout the rest of the year. It’s often the transitional staples that get discounted before the trend-led high-season pieces hit the stores, and for someone like me who mostly shops for basics I can wear across all seasons, it couldn’t be more useful.

So I felt thoroughly spoiled when all three of my go-to high street stores launched their summer sales recently, with edits full to the brim with pieces that were already in my cart, or on my wish list to buy for 2024. Highlights include chic tailoring at ARKET at up to 60% off; easy, versatile dresses at COS and some great tailoring and accessory options at & Other Stories, all with up to 50% off.

With so much good stuff to choose from, though, it can be hard to know which items are truly worth investing in during sale periods. It’s important to opt for classics or buys you were already considering so you avoid any impulse buys and subsequent regrets. And it helps to know from an expert which items won’t suddenly be ‘out of fashion’ in a month’s time—which is where I come in. Below, I’ve edited all three sales down to thirty key buys—ten from each—any of which I believe would make smart investments, especially at these temporarily lower prices. As we all know, though, the best sale buys go quickly—something to keep that in mind if you spot any of your own wishlisted pieces below. Now, all that's left to do is keep scrolling and enjoy…
