It's My Job to Know What's Cool in Fashion—Shop 16 Pieces I'm Wearing Now
I find that whenever I talk about my job people are always interested by what me and my fellow fashion editors wear to the office. So I have started documenting what I wear to the Who What Wear head office in Los Angeles and the events I attend as part of my job. With summer on the mind, my fashion choices have followed suit this month— I even wore a bikini top as an actual top on one day. I do live in LA.
All of my layers have been replaced by summer staples— from ’90s-inspired strappy sandals to bold mini dresses. The bikini top might not quite work in London— however the boots and blazer combo, snakeskin skirt suit and yellow top and jeans will work outside of the California sunshine. Ahead, see how I’m wearing these cool pieces, find out why they’re essentials in my wardrobe, and shop each of the pieces.
I've never met a blazer outfit I didn't like. The recent way I've been styling them? With high-waisted denim and cropped tops underneath. Here, I opted for a bikini top from Matteau (one of my favorite swimsuit brands) paired with the Agolde jeans all of our editors own and a puffy-sleeve jacket from Mara Hoffman.
I'm breathing new life into one of my favorite bikini tops by wearing it as a top instead of a swimsuit.
Our editors are so obsessed with these jeans that we all own them (more on that here).
I regularly sing my praises of French brand Jacquemus. This fringe set from the designer's spring collection immediately went to the top of my must-buy list.
This outfit instantly put me in vacation mode.
I'm planning to pair this with anything from a T-shirt to a puffy sleeve top next.
Here, you can spot my typical uniform for the office with the addition of some new boots from Italian brand Paris Texas.
I practically live in this blazer. The oversize fit is exactly what I want to wear right now and unlike men's versions I've tried, the shoulders are tailored to perfection.
These are the latest It shoes to own, and I'm so excited I added a pair to my closet.
Nanushka designs vegan leather pieces that look just as amazing as the real thing—including this matching snakeskin set that's an exclusive with MyTheresa.
The waist-cinching belt and oversize fit make this one of the best new pieces in my closet.
Daphine is a jewellery brand that recently came onto my radar, and I instantly fell in love with its beautiful pieces.
This necklace sits longer tham a choker and is the perfect length to wear with anything from a blazer to a dress.
I love the idea of stacking rings, so I have been wearing two of these together on one finger.
Speaking of minis, this minidress from Majorelle is the ultimate '90s throwback piece that I can't get enough of.
Green isn't a color I normally gravitate toward, but this shade is spot on.
Yep, more colour. This time with a puff-sleeve top that ties up the front.
I'm clearly taking a maximal approach to swimwear this season by layering a crystal belt over a black one-piece.
I love anything that looks like it could have been worn in the '90s, including this swimsuit.
Whether layered over a swimsuit or a dress or worn with denim, there are endless ways to style this crystal belt.
Strappy sandals are the shoe trend I can't get enough of this year. I found these at Zara earlier this year. While this pair is already sold out, the store still stocks them in this snakeskin version.
