Not Afraid to Admit It: We Love Christmas Pyjamas
What could be better than spending Christmas morning with a glass of Buck's Fizz in hand and exchanging gifts by the fire all in the comfort of utterly luxurious, silky and sleek pyjamas?
Luckily for us, pyjama dressing has remained in fashion (printed co-ords are still going strong this season), so as far as we're concerned, it would be acceptable to wear them all day, all week, and maybe even all month depending on your December schedule.
Pioneer Olivia Von Halle is always one of our first choices when it comes to lavish loungewear. Inspired by the lounging pyjamas worn by Coco Chanel and her contemporaries, Olivia's directional prints are an influencer favourite. Since her launch in 2011, a number of other young designers have propelled sleepwear into the spotlight: Desmond and Dempsey, Yolke, Sundays London and House of Hackney are just a few names on our radar.
Not sure leisurely lounging is for you? No problem—these work well as a present. Why not pop together a nice gift box, complete with a matching eye mask, for that one "selective Susan" who has everything. Trust us—your mum, sister and BFF will all thank you for giving the gift of a good night's sleep, and a stylish one at that (note to my friends and family—this totally works both ways). Want to get a head start on that shopping list? See our selection of extra-special Christmas pyjamas in the gallery below.
