How Chloë Sevigny Always Looks So Good in Super-Short Miniskirts

Our trusted barometer of cool, Chloë Sevigny, has long been a great source of short-hemline inspiration. She's got a cracking pair of pins, true, but the actress and muse also knows that sometimes these thigh-skimming minis require an extra dash of styling know-how in order to stay sophisticated.

Attending the A/W 16 Kenzo menswear show in Paris, Chloë kindly provided just the variety of inspiration we appreciate, an offbeat take on a simple idea: black skirt, white top and heels.

She wore a super-mini, super-shiny Kenzo miniskirt with this ultra-covered-up white voluminous blouse and a pair of V-neck shoes (possibly the most leg-lengthening footwear option we know), and there was a whiff of 1980s power-dressing here—something that sets this look aside from the norm and places it well within autumn/winter's trend zone.
