I Look at Celebrity Outfits All Day—These 8 Didn't Go Viral But Should've
It's hard to explain why some celebrity looks go viral and others don't. I think a lot of it has to do with who the celebrity is and what else is going on at the time. Some weeks are so filled with high-profile events that epic looks get lost in the shuffle, unfortunately. On other weeks, it seems like every outlet is covering the same random look. And for every Kim Kardashian or Jennifer Lopez look that goes viral, there are a dozen others that didn't—but could've. I'm here to discuss the "could've" looks.
I combed through more recent-ish celeb outfits than I can even count in search of those with viral potential but for one reason or another, didn't quite get there. So let's give them the attention they deserve. Scroll on to see looks from Anne Hathaway, Kate Moss, and more, that you won't be able to stop thinking about.
Laura Harrier is becoming quite the one to watch as far as stylish celebrities go. She wore the sheer Saint Laurent two-piece with all the confidence it requires.

With this look, it's important to give context, as Margot Robbie wore it to the Barbie movie wrap party in London. Many would say that the Barbie movie is one of the things that's made the hot-pink trend what it is this year (and the reason the trend has been coined Barbiecore).
On Margot Robbie: Alex Perry blazer; Benedetta Bruzziches Vitty Crystal Shoulder Bag ($985); Nike Air Force 1 '07 Sneakers ($110)

Kate Moss' silver suit, which she wore during NYFW, provides proof that metallics are back, and they're chicer than ever. Bonus points for her frilly blouse and initial book bag.

Taylor Russell's Bones and All press looks have been incredibly impressive, and have solidified her as a celebrity fashion girl. I'm personally obsessed with this perfect Prada look and the novel idea to pair it with a diamond headpiece.
On Taylor Russell: Prada dress and shoes; Cartier headpiece

Jenna Ortega wore this off-the-runway Valentino look to the Met Gala, and I love how fresh and "Gen-Z" she made it look.

This Anne Hathaway look is so good that I had to show it from multiple angles. It's been a full year of great Anne Hathaway outfits, but this one didn't get quite as much buzz as some that came after it, which is a shame because it's stunning.
On Anne Hathaway: David Koma dress; Aquazzura Bow Tie Pumps 105mm ($725)

The fact that Anya Taylor-Joy wore this lady-in-red look to a morning show (The Today Show, to be exact) makes it even more epic. She wore a lot of memorable looks this week, and I don't think this one should get lost in the shuffle by any means.
On Anya Taylor-Joy: Magda Butrym
Magda Butrym Patent Leather Trench Coat ($4670) and Lace Babydoll Dress ($3725); Christian Louboutin shoes

If you don't already follow Mindy Kaling on Instagram, do it now. She clearly loves fashion, and always wears fun, colorful pieces whether she's a home or on the red carpet. I'm obsessed with this gorgeous colorblock dress by Indian designer Bibhu Mohspstra.
